Chunnu Munnu Short Story

Chunnu and Munnu are in the forest.

Once there lived a lot of animals and birds in a forest. Nobody hate anyone and all lived together through thick and thin. Two chickens named "Chunnu" and "Munnu" also lived in that forest. The two chickens were very beautiful. Chunnu was a very noble and innocent chicken. He did not irritate anybody. It was his good habit to help others. Whereas Munnu had irritated all the animals of the forest by his mischiefs. All the animals remained worried because of Munnu. They had tried a lot to abstain Munnu from his mischiefs. But he turned a deaf ear to them and did not stop his activities. Munnu felt envy for Chunnu. He did not like that all the animals praised Chunnu. That's why he always tried to humiliate Chunnu but he always failed. One day the king of the jungle, the lion fell ill.

Munnu is thinking of some trick to humiliate Chunnu.

On the other hand, Munnu was thinking of some trick to humiliate Chunnu. Suddenly he hit upon an idea. He decided to disturb the lion, becoming Chunnu. In this way the lion would start hating Chunnu. By thinking it Munnu walked towards the lion's den. But he did not know that Chunnu was already present there to visit the lion. When Munnu reached near the lion's den he started shouting loudly.

Chunnu and sparrow are together.

He was also laughing loudly to disturb the lion. As the lion was feeling bad he became angry on Munnu's activity. When Munnu made noise for long time, the lion shouted from the den, "Who's outside making too much noise? Doesn't he know that the king of jungle is ill?" To find the lion angry Munnu became very excited and said to himself, "Amazing it will be a fun now." Then he said slowly, "My lord its Chunnu doing it, if you do not believe, come outside and see by yourself.”

On Munnu's answer the lion went out of the den in anger along with Chunnu. Now other animals of the forest also gathered there with lion's roaring. When Munnu named Chunnu the lion understood it was Munnu because Chunnu was already present in the lion's den. Munnu got embarrassed to see Chunnu behind the lion. Munnu was proved liar before all the animals. Now Munnu did not have any other option instead of apologizing. Munnu apologized Chunnu and repented to lie in future.
