The clever Fox, Donkey and Lion story

The king of the jungle had become very old. Due to the old age his memory was getting weaker. The lion was very anxious due to his illness. Because it was necessary to possess good memory to govern. The lion remained worried that how to regain his memory?

The lion and the monkey are together.

At last one day a monkey came to him from nearby jungle who was a very intelligent doctor. When the king told him of his illness he said: "My lord! The cure of your disease is possible. If you eat the brain of a healthy donkey, your memory would become sharp again." The lion got excited to listen to the monkey but it came to his mind that it was not possible for him to hunt the donkey due to his weakness. To think that the lion got really sad. Now he started thinking to hunt donkey. He did not like to eat any other animal's hunt and it was impossible for himself to hunt any animal. At last he hit upon an idea after thinking a lot. The lion called a fox and said her to bring a healthy donkey to his den. As the fox listened to the lion she spoke: "Respected king! I know a donkey who is very healthy and young. I try to bring him to you."

The cunning fox and the donkey are going to met the lion.

By saying this the fox went away to search the donkey. When the fox went to the other corner of the jungle the donkey met fox. The fox reached near him and said cunningly: "O Mr. donkey! You are grazing grass here! You are fortunate enough that the lord of jungle is passing his last days. He wants to nominate you as his descendant. Go to him and take some important instructions from him." The donkey said to the fox that he was not a fool who himself would go to his death. The fox said to see her plan failing: "Oh..... Oh.....Mr. donkey! Do not misunderstand me. Trust me there is not even a single animal in the whole forest as handsome and wise as you are."

The fox and donkey reached to the lion's den. 

When the donkey heard his praise he got over excited and got ready to go with the fox. When the fox and donkey reached to the lion's den the hungry lion attacked the donkey at once. The donkey's ear came to lion's paw. The donkey ran away to escape as his ear cut. The lion became really sad on losing his prey. The fox said to the lion that she had brought the donkey with great difficulty now it would be difficult for her to bring him once again. As the lion requested fox again and again the fox went to donkey once again. As the donkey saw fox approaching to him he said outrageously: "You cunning fox! You had tried your best to make me kill. If I would not have shown efficiency the lion would have eaten me."

The fox saw that the lion immediately attacked the donkey and tore it into pieces.

The fox said with cleverness "O Mr. donkey! The king of the jungle had held your ear to pass some instructions in your ear and you ran away by getting afraid. Now come with me right now. I will be staying with you." The donkey again truste fox and went towards the lion's den. Now the lion did not attack the donkey rather he kept on sitting quietly. When the donkey reached very close to the lion, the lion at once attacked the donkey and tore him to pieces. Now as the lion tried to eat donkey's brain he got surprised to find that the brain was not present inside the donkey's skull. The lion said to the fox: "You have stolen the donkey's brain." But the fox replied in a very cunning tone: "Respected king! I think the donkey did not have the brain because if he would have brain why would he come to you again?"
