The fox in the well full story
Once a fox was roaming through in search of food. She was hungry since night but
could not find anything to eat. When she was tired of hunting, she became thirsty and wanted to drink some water. There was a water well nearby. The fox went near the well to drink some water. As she came closer to the well she was very pleased to see that some goats were grazing with their kids. When the fox saw the goats she became hungrier. She was happy by finding a meal along with water.

So she planned that first she would drink water and then she would hunt a goat for meal. As she went near the water well she was disappointed to see that the level of water was very low. She still wanted to reach near the water and as she lowered herself in the well, she slipped inside. The fox got really worried after falling inside the well. She could not even jump out. Whenever she would try to jump her paws would slip off from the slippery walls of the well and she would fall back. Even after trying for many times she could not come out of the well. Then she thought of some other way to get rid of this problem.

While she was still thinking of some way to get out, a goat that was grazing nearby came closer to the well to drink some water and as the goat saw the fox inside the well she asked her, "What are you doing inside the well, Miss fox?" When the fox saw the goat she had an idea in mind and she replied to the goat, "My dear goat sister, although the water in the well is a little deep but it is so sweet and cool that I just don't feel like coming out from this well. You can come inside as well if you feel like. “Yes even I'm very thirsty and I came here to drink some water as well." The goat replied quickly. So the fox said, "Yes why not? You must come inside and drink this delicious and sweet water. But as there is very less space inside so you will have to help me come out first.

Then you can drink water as long as you wish to and when you will finish drinking then I will get back inside to drink." The goat replied quickly to the fox, "Okay Miss fox, I will just come inside and then you can get on my back to jump out and then you will help me the same way to jump out as well." So without thinking again the goat jumped into the well. The fox was feeling very happy inside her heart that her trick was very good and successful. So she climbed on the goat's back and jumped out of the well. Then she hunted one of the other goats and had a good meal. On the other hand the foolish goat was feeling sorry over her silliness. The goat kept calling the fox for help but the clever fox after putting the goat in trouble had run far away.
