 A Barber and Monkey Story

Mischievous monkey

The mischievous monkey is in the forest.

Once upon a time there lived many monkeys together in a jungle. One of those monkeys was very mischievous. No doubt all the monkeys copy others but that mischievous monkey was very fond of doing new mischiefs and mimicry. There was a village near the jungle. The monkeys often visited that village and irritated the inhabitants of that village.

1. A monkey sees a barber shaving.

The monkey is sitting on a branch of a tree and watching
 the barber.

2. He also wants to shave. 

The mischievous monkey also went towards jungle along with his friends but he often sat on a branch of a tree and watched the people making their hair cut and faces shaved from a barber, sitting under another tree. This monkey often wished to use the scissors and razor. But the barber used to hide his all equipments as he also knew all about the monkeys' mischiefs.

3. The barber is at his lunch. 

The monkey is trying to shave his face.

4. The monkey takes away the razor and cuts his nose.

One day, the barber suddenly reminded some work. He left all the equipment on the table in hurry and went towards home. The monkey was watching everything sitting on the branch of tree and as the barber vanished the monkey jumped and climbed down from the tree and sat on the chair in front of the mirror. The mischievous monkey tied a piece of cloth around his neck, put some shaving cream on his face and tried to shave.

The monkey's nose is bleeding.

He took the razor near his face but suddenly his hand slipped and the razor touched his nose. As the razor touched the nose, the nose got cut and it started bleeding. The monkey ran towards jungle, crying with pain. First of all, the monkeys in jungle did bandage on his wound together. Then an elder monkey advised him and said: "Every man doth his business well."
