Punishment for Being Disunited

Introduction of the story:

| The lion wants to hunt three bulls. |
Once there lived three bulls in a village. All of them were fast friends and used to roam around together in the jungle and all three of them would take good care of each other. All the animals in the jungle used to fear them because of their unity. There lived a lion in the jungle as well. The lion would often attack weak animals to have his meal. Whenever the lion saw these fat and meaty bulls his mouth filled with water due to hunger.

The lion had also tried to attack on these bulls a couple of times but could never be successful.
Eventually the lion had realised that the three bulls had great unity among them and it was not so easy for the lion to hunt these bulls. Fox was known to be a clever animal in the jungle. So the lion thought that he should ask the fox to give him any idea for hunting the bulls. The lion then started searching for the fox and finally found her after a while.

When the lion told the fox about the whole problem she replied, “Your Majesty! This is not a very big problem. I can help you in hunting the three bulls. But when you will hunt the bulls I will take a piece of meat of my own choice from each one of them." The lion replied, "I agree with your condition but right now you just quickly plan to hunt these bulls. The fox asked the lion to wait for few days. After saying this she walked towards that part of the jungle where the three bulls were often found together. After a short while the fox reached near the bulls when she saw them busy in grazing.
Suddenly an idea came into her mind. She went near one of the bulls who was grazing alone in
a corner and said to him, “I have observed that both your friends are very weak and coward. They are never fair with you. Whenever the lion attacks, both of your friends make you face the lion alone. They want the lion to kill you."
When the bull heard what the fox said, he became very angry at his friends and started accusing them for their selfishness. The fox was very glad to see the bull in anger. So she went to both the other bulls and poisoned their minds for each other by telling lies and that was how within a few days the three bulls split apart from each other and no longer remained friends.

When the fox was really sure that her trick had worked and the bulls were no longer united, she went to the lion and said, "Your Majesty, I have disunited the three bulls and they are no longer friends with each other so now you may hunt each one of them very easily.” The lion was very happy to hear what the fox told him. The next day the lion was glad to see all the three bulls grazing separately from each other in different parts of the jungle. The lion then got a chance so he attacked the first bull and hunted him successfully. When the bull was caught by the lion he yelled loudly for help but no one came for his help. The lion became very confident after hunting one bull so he hunted both the other bulls one by one.
